This episode of Three Schmoes and a Shot podcast is a review of the 2003 drama The Last Samurai starring Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe.

We are joined by a Guest Schmoe Dino who is an expert in all things related to swords and adds a really informative colorful take to this week's movie in review

The overview of the movie revolves around Capt. Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise) who is an American military officer hired by the Emperor of Japan to train the country's first army in the art of modern warfare. As the government attempts to eradicate the ancient Samurai warrior class in preparation for more Westernized and trade-friendly policies, Algren finds himself unexpectedly affected by his encounters with the Samurai, which places him at the center of a struggle between two eras and two worlds.

The cigar audio clip extracted for this episode is a Cohiba Riviera Robusto which we highly recommend

We hope you enjoy the show

This week's podcast episode by those loveable comedic Schmoes is a review of the self professed prequel to the popular National Lampoon Van Wilder movie entitled Van Wilder: Freshman Year starring Jonathan Bennett as the young Van Wilder and Kristin Cavallari as Kaitlin Hayes.

If you want a glimpse into what Jeff's and Harry's collegiate days were like then this is the movie to watch or take a shortcut and just listen to the Schmoe's talking points which is far more enjoyable

Since we are finally back introducing audio clips extracted from our youtube channel we add a review of an 80 ring gage x 7" Asylum 13 cigar which is really, really a big cigar!

Enjoy!
