THREE WHITE LIONS:
Chapter 5. Seeing the Truth.
June 25, 2021 (America! Where Do I Fit?)
Book's Goal: 1. Let you know how to trust your own eyes. 2. Take in information.3. Decide how you are going to be a good citizen in this world of clashing realities People have this a bit backward. They start with their conclusion then try to find information that prove it. My approach is to see something that interests you. Ask a question about it in just one sentence. Then, see where your investigation takes you. That is your conclusion. Kind of like a mystery. We ask Who? What is their background and that of the place they are affiliated with its background? We look at videos, tweets, articles, a variety of news shows, maybe even documentaries and your friends. Ask what do they get out of this statement? Then, trust your gut. After the conclusion, what action do you want to take? That is what is different, the action part. We looked at 1. Fox's Tucker Carlson calling the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley "a pig" and "stupid." We also looked at 2. The infrastructure bill. and 3. *Critical Racial Theory.
