Perth families are speaking out about increasingly long wait times for ear, nose and throat specialists.

Shannon Cowan's two-year-old daughter has severe hearing loss requiring an aid.

She's already been waiting 14 months for an appointment and have been told that Fiona Stanley Hospital is only now accepting 20-18 referrals.
