The Hill of Tara, an archaeological site situated between Navan and Dunshaughlin in County Meath. Containing a number of ancient monuments, it was the seat of the High King of Ireland. A HUGE temple, once surrounded by about 300 huge posts made from an entire oak forest, has been discovered. The stone of destiny which looks similar to an ancient shivling is believed to have magical powers but has been attacked and vandalized multiple times in the recent past.
