Jesus wants to prepare His followers for what is coming.  Persecution.  We don't want to suffer persecution but we should be prepared for the NAME of JESUS to be persecuted.

We do not passively obey - we actively guard the commandments of Jesus.  Are you guarding?

John 15 - Jesus talks about being the Vine and we are the branches.  God is the Gardener and the Holy Spirit bears fruit in us.  How are you doing?

The Holy Spirit has come!!  Jesus leaves us better off.  He leaves us the Advocate, Renewer, and the Teacher.

Hope has a Name and His name is Jesus!!!

John 14:6 is a powerful verse and even more powerful in its original context

"Love one another as I have loved you" and with those words Jesus set the standard for what love is.

Jesus entrusted himself to the Sovereignty of God.  Do we?

Jesus does the unthinkable and washes the Disciples feet.  Why?

Unity is found in Christ.  We don't have it any other way.
