Jesus had a better way and it was the way of grace.  He wanted to teach us how to live according to these Unforced Rhythms of Grace.  We begin with the Shema.

Psalms 20 is a Royal Psalm where David remembers heading out to battle with the support and encouragement of the people.  Our battle is not again flesh and blood.  How can this Psalm instruct us?

Worship is not only what we do at church it is an everyday thing.  This is our Church in the Park. 

A Messianic Psalm that is quoted often in the New Testament.  It helps to show us the connectedness of Scripture.

How do you talk to yourself?  Is it positive or negative?  David in this Psalm talks to his soul and takes his thoughts captive.

David cries out to the Lord to deliver him.  Is prayer your first response or your last resort?

This is a Psalm of Thanksgiving.  What is David thankful for?

Psalm 40 - David is thanking God for past deliverance and asking for a current deliverance from the Pit

Psalms 23 - One of the most beloved Psalms.  Is the Lord your Shepherd?  What do you need that the Great Shepherd will provide.
