What our relationships need is grace.  But you cannot give what you do not have

This may be a story you have heard before but perhaps today you will discover something new as we wrap up our series on Abraham

God promised Abraham a son and God gave him a son.  God is always faithful.

God changes Abrams name to Abraham.  Why does he do this?

Abraham decided when God seemed to be late to help himself.  This produces far more pain than joy.  Are you tempted to help yourself instead of trusting God?

Abraham had questions but instead of letting those turn into unbelief he simply asked God.  Through this process He became Fully Convinced God was who He said He was and would do everything He said He would do.

Abraham is so much like us.   When things got hard he trusted what he knew instead of trusting God.  Who are you trusting?
