Paul talks about bold confidence that comes for a testimony of his conscience. The grace of God is the reason for a good testimony in our conscience.

The Apostle Paul continues to talk about comfort. Comfort gives us and those who suffer with us a hope the is firmly grounded. If we share in each others suffering we also share their comfort. Paul begins to tell us about his suffering.

Why are we comforted? What does comfort do for us? Paul answers these question in these verses.

He desires grace and peace for the Corinthians. These things come from God. He begins to speak of the comfort of God. What is God's comfort.

Paul describes himself as an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God. He tells us Timothy is with him.

This message gives us a very short but needed introduction into the book of Second Corinthians.

The salutation of Paul to the church at Corinth. Those who do not love Jesus should be considered accursed. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen.

When people bring the truth about a situation to a leader they do two things. They give that leader all they need to correct a problem and they refresh that leaders spirit. These men should be recognized in the church.

Paul tells the Corinthians to be subject to those who labor and are addicted to ministry like Stephanas and his household.
