Paul speaks a blessing over the church at Thessalonica and over us as we follow the Lord. It is that God will strengthen and comfort our hearts as we work and spread His Word.

Paul tells us that we need to stand firm and hold on to the truth that is taught in his writings. To stand firm means to continue on and to hold tight means seize.

As believer we receive the glory of God. Our spirits are filled with His glory now. Our souls and body will be completely filled when He comes to take the church away.

Salvation comes as the Holy Spirit makes them clean and they receive salvation by faith.

Paul is thankful for the faithful church in Thessalonica. They are part of God's family and because of that they are receiving salvation. The total and complete salvation of their spirit, soul and body.

People will believe what is false so that God can judge them for their rejection of the truth. They chose the pleasure of wickedness over the truth.

God is going to send a influence upon those who have rejected the truth. This will cause them to believe what is false.

The anti-christ will use the lies or deceit of wickedness to deceive people. They will be deceive because they refuse to love the truth.

The anti-christ will come with power, signs and amazing displays. He will get hus eneregy from Satan.

The lawless one will be shown after the church is gone. Jesus will come back at His coming and slay him with His words and bring an end to him and his lawlessness.
