Thrivenomics

In this episode of Thrivenomics, James Duncan welcomes back Michael Jones, CFO for Thrive Mortgage.  It has been a rocky two weeks in the U.S. and global economies.  Michael brings a great perspective on what transpired, why markets moved the way they did, and where we are now.

In our first episode waaaay back in early February, Michael and James discussed the state of the mortgage industry and mortgage rates through 2019 and leading into 2020.  Since that conversation, we have seen the Dow reach record heights, then gave back about a third of its value, mortgage rates reach historic lows, an economy that seemed unshakeable, changes in the U.S. Presidential race, a major pandemic impacting economies and lives across the globe, and government intervention to stave off a looming financial crisis.  The question now is, "Did it work?"
