Starting their careers together while still dating created a unique level of discipline and ownership needed for marriage. Life was busy from the get-go. She reminds us that doing life together as partners requires maturing communication skills. The way we communicate is the key to surviving career pivots, growing families, and selfish impulses. Addressing spending habits took courage, and talking openly about accountability with finances required practice. Physical needs change with each transition, but commitment to getting it done and sticking to non-negotiables keeps the fire alive.
