This week, Dave kicks us off by sharing his struggles with self forgiveness as he read how God Forgave the Israelites in Judges and questioned whether they had forgiven themselves. A few of us identify with Dave's struggle and Johnny leverages scripture to help those struggling with self forgiveness in 1 John 1:9, Matthew 6:14 and more.

Other topics include the erosion of Burlington Vermont, the sometimes subtle or not so subtle focus of media attempting to pull people away from God by creating content that has the viewer seaping in anti-Jesus sewage.

Dave pulls us back into forgiveness and we hear an interesting confession from Ben's past. The group makes some suggestions that will Glorify God.

We discuss step 8 of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, 8.) Made a list of all people we hard harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. Dave shares a testimony of a friend that made an amends 15 years later.

This week, we have an interesting "false start" with Dave sharing about a new book he is reading by Jonathon Cahn titled The Return of the gods (lowercase g) and Dave shares an example from the book, where they did a huge gala and unavailing of the Arch of Baal on display in Washington DC. 

Judah then officially kicks off the episode and mentions our new additional series where we will be studying Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis (so be on the lookout for that) chapter by chapter. After the introduction, Johnny kicks us off by sharing about the juxtaposition of the One True God and the many lowercase gods that ultimately lead us to the lake of fire.

Dave responds by sharing about today's culture and the similarities to the Israelites and the Galatians through disobedience and how religion was used to divide the people. Johnny responds with an actual definition of "bewitched" and applies this to both the Israelites and Galatians worshipping false idols.

The group then talks about the United States of America being a God founded country and how society has eroded by removing the Ten Commandments from the Supreme Court and the removal of talking about God in nearly all institutions. 

This is a recap of the first 15 minutes and the remaining 20'ish minutes are full of great stuff for you reflect on as you read the Book of Judges and Book of Galatians along with us.

This week, we discuss having patience while reading the bible and making the Bible your friend.

We then discuss the intent of human nature which sparks Judah bringing up a book titled, "A Libertarian Walks into a Bear" which is a true story documenting the Free Town Project in Grafton, NH. In 2001, thousands of libertarians settled into what was a crime free, safe and clean town. Not a shocker, the “Nobody tells me what to do!” attitude didn't end well...any relation to the Book of Judges? Hmmm, Judges 21:25 "In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes."

We then talk about complacent spiritual attitudes, God's creation of chaos and confusion, the refusal to listen and respond to repeated warnings and the reality that it is not the do's and don'ts, it is all about being in right relationship with God, loving God with all that you have and loving your neighbor as yourself, and so much more.
