One of the most common complaints and questions I get asked is how can I get my spouse or partner on the same page about my child's special needs. This question comes up because the primary care-giver can see the child's struggle, but the secondary care-giver can not.
In this video I share why this situation can happen, things you need to take into consideration, and 5 ways to present information that can help get your Spouse on board.

I talk to a lot of other Special Needs Parents who feel like they are drowning because they are in debt, and fighting for services for their children. Then layer on the daily struggles of raising a special needs child...it's exhausting. I am here to tell you that you can become debt free, regardless of your child's extra needs, and I am going to give you 6 ways you find therapy on a tight budget.
In this podcast I share our story on how we started out being $35K in debt and short over $500 each month to being debt free for the last 2 years, all while ensuring our special needs child received the services she needed. I share how to set up a budget, how to move from being in the red to having positive cash flow each month by addressing expenses and incoming revenue, and 6 ways to afford the services your child needs when money is tight.

With that said, I thought I would take this opportunity to share my thoughts with you on ways to help you re-frame your thoughts surrounding focus and ways you can help your child focus. In this podcast I share 3 myths that surround #Focus & #ADHD while also giving you 4 more tips to help your child improve their focus.
Sometimes you need help with a specific issue you are dealing with. In this video I asked my special needs parenting community what questions and situations they need the most help on. Here are the questions they asked and we are going to tackle:

Question #2: How to potty train an older child?
Question #3: Where is the best place to get information on math dyscalculia? Have you found a curriculum that addresses dyscalculia? What games do you use to keep math fun with a struggling student?
Question #4: Is there a website that suggests OT & PT activities for kids?
Question #5: How do you meet friends? Other mommies who can understand and offer support/bounce ideas off of? And friends for your children?
