I wish to remind you of the God’s love for you today. I don't know what you’re going through, what you have done, nor what is holding you back, but I pray that these words from His promise would remind you that He cares for you & will give you rest from your burdens.

This episode is a bible study on Genesis 32 where Jacob wrestles with God. When you actually think about that isn't it ludicrous? Jacob held God by His garments and actually prevailed against Him. Oftentimes, it feels like we are alone. As if the Lord has forgotten us or has left us. The reality is that God is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Our hope is in Him and Him alone. We can rely on the fact that God is close to us in our most desperate moments. It's possible that God is silent in those moments because He wants to hear the cry of your heart. 

Idk what you may be going through but cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will give you rest. I have been exhausted these past few weeks. I feel like I have been fighting an uphill battle. It seems like I have been trying to make a way myself without the Lord. The cause of my affliction has been myself. The burden of my consequences have been my own actions. Yet, the Lord is still faithful to get us through our storms. God is so good to us. He will give us rest. Surrender your will, emotions, body, mind, soul, and spirit to Him, and you will see the glory of God operate in your life through a new-found humility.

When you hear the words spiritual warfare, perhaps you envision yourself taking some type of stand against an army in some desolate place. Maybe you believe it is all about rebuking demons in the name of Jesus. In this episode, I would like to discuss this topic from a different perspective. I believe that spiritual warfare takes place in the heart and mind. I pray that this episode would help you in being victorious in the battles that you face. The war was won by Christ on the cross, however, we all have battles we must still fight.

This place that I am living in is a beautiful existence. It is a place where my worries are not my own. My burden is not carried by me. The weight of the world is on the shoulders of Him who sacrificed His life for it. All of my anxieties are on Him. My trust was mistaken. I thought that I could trust solely in the hands of God, but He showed me how to trust in Him for who He is: the Great "I AM". I am so grateful that the Lord has been transforming me before my very own eyes. All the suffering and the pain that it took to get to this point has been worth it. I thank the Lord for all that He has done in my life.

It took me several months to realize that my focus was on the wrong things in life. I allowed the promise to blind me from the Promise-Keeper. I battled God everyday. We wrestled on many things, and in His grace He allowed my frustration to build until it led to my surrender. It was in my defeat that I found victory. It took turmoil to lead to my peace in God.
