I realized I could put the list together and share it here (on the blog) because perhaps this is something you search for as well. Having a list of the books of the Bible with the number of chapters each book contains is helpful for multiple reasons. Personally, I like to know how many chapters are in each book for fun, but also to help me create my Bible reading plans, to do deep-dive studies, plan my writing and teaching content, and also to help my memory. When I know how many chapters are in a book, it often helps me remember where certain scriptures are located.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION: God does not view us differently whether we do or don’t do any of these things (mentioned in episode). Jesus paid the ultimate price for us to live in freedom! The yoke of slavery comes from the world and our old, sinful nature. It also refers to the entanglement of religious duties that were listed in the Old Testament. The freedom Paul talks to the Galatians about is our liberty from the pursuit of having to earn our own way to God, being set free from sin, guilt, shame, and condemnation, and the freedom from the presence of sin in our lives. When we follow Jesus, we are no longer slaves to sin. Romans 8:1 says, Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. Believing in Jesus is all that it takes. There’s nothing we can do on our part because Jesus already did everything. Our part is to bask in the freedom and relationship with God, which leads to joy, hope, and continual transformation. It doesn’t matter what our personality type is or how passionate and “on fire” we get for God, He won’t see us any differently. Whether we’re home doing mundane tasks or pursuing our careers, His love for us doesn’t change. There’s nothing we can do to make Him love each of us more or less.
