Episode 001 - Varun Mehta is my very dear friend and senior from my undergrad architecture school in Mumbai. This ordinary bombay boy grew up with interests in geometry, skateboarding, all things arts and crafts, exploring technology blended with all kinds of hands-on mediums of expression, exploration and production. He wears a different cap everyday as an architect, graphic and typeface designer, an installation artist, a product designer, apparel designer also one of the pioneers of introducing the first skateboarding spaces in Mumbai, an instrumental member with the new age apparel and accessory brand Urban Monkey. If you ask me, he is a disruptive designer who displays the potential of Indo-futuristic design for the New India, the Naya Bharat, with his initiatives Arc.hv and Vari0.us.
