September 02, 2020What technology is out there for completely blind or visually impaired people?In this podcast i am talking about a subject and that subject is about what technology is out there for completely blind or visually impaired people and how are we able to use it? I am going into my answer for this question and I am talking about what technology is out there and some of those services are screen readers for Apple devices such like a iPhone iPad MacBook Apple Watch and Apple iPod. As well for android devices feature called talkback such like a android phone Samsung tablet and Samsung watch. I as well talk about low vision tools such like zoom or magnifier for low vision users on the Apple devices. I as well talk about different screen readers for laptops such like a MacBook or windows and both laptops provide a screen reader for a MacBook it’s called voice over and for windows it’s narrator or JAWS and zoom for low vision people. I as well talk about different smart speakers out there for completely blind or visually impaired people as well for different gadgets and apps for us to be independent.
