Former Lasell College leading scorer Armin Omanovic joins the show to share his full basketball journey — the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Armin finished his Lasell career with 1,229 total points, 205 assists, and 236 rebounds. During his senior season, he averaged 28.0 points per game, ranking 1st in the GNAC and 2nd in the nation.
In just two seasons at Lasell, Armin averaged 20+ points per game, earned GNAC Player of the Year, and cemented himself as one of the most impactful players in the program’s history.
But this episode goes beyond the stats.
Armin opens up about the early grind, moments of doubt, and the trials and tribulations that shaped him as both a player and a person. He reflects on the support system that carried him through tough moments and the mindset that fueled his success at the collegiate level.
More than anything, what stands out is loyalty — to his teammates, his coaches, and the people who believed in him when it mattered most.
This episode isn’t just about basketball.
It’s about commitment, resilience, and staying true to who you are no matter where the journey takes you.

From his smooth isolation game and clutch performances to his quiet consistency across multiple teams, Joe built a legacy that flew under the radar while earning superstar money. We break down how his unique skill set, adaptability, and professionalism kept him relevant for nearly two decades, and why he deserves far more respect when we talk about great bucket-getters of the 2000s and 2010s.
In this episode, I open up about my high school basketball days — the frustration of not playing much, what it did to my confidence, and how I learned to turn that experience into motivation. Sometimes sitting on the bench teaches you more than being on the floor.
