I recently read an incredible book last year called A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, which takes you inside this beloved psalm through the eyes of a real shepherd. David wasn’t speaking in poetry. He was speaking from experience. As a shepherd himself, he understood every image, every tool, and every promise in a way most of us never realize. 

In this podcast, we take a deep dive into Psalm 23 and discover how Jesus is the Good Shepherd, how God cares for us in personal and practical ways, and how much He truly loves us. When you understand this psalm, fear begins to fade, because anxiety cannot survive in the presence of truth. Psalm 23 tells you who God is, which makes it hard to believe the lies that anxiety whispers. 

Even though God says “Do not be afraid” 365 times, we still wrestle with worry from our human perspective. So let’s walk through this psalm together, learn from it, and let it reshape the way we see God. My prayer is that you will write Psalm 23 on your heart, speak it over yourself daily, and come to believe every word with your whole heart.
