Initially, Jesus’s brothers doubted Jesus. His own brothers mocked Jesus and told him that he should go to the festival of shelters and perform some miracles so he could be famous. Jesus told his brothers that he wasn’t going, so they went to the festival without Jesus. Later, when the time was right, Jesus went secretly to the festival. At the festival, Jesus went to the temple and started teaching. Jesus met with much opposition at the festival. Even those who believed in him were afraid to openly confess their faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus didn’t go to the festival so he could be famous. Jesus went to the festival to set people free.
