She was headed to Los Angeles to become the next big TV start only to have life take her down a different path.  A path that will filled with many ups and many downs.  Andrew Wilson Woods went from writing stage plays to writing a daily journal of her walk with her younger sister Adrieene who was battling liver cancer.

Growing in southern Alabama, Kathy Burnette was not afforded the luxuries that most kids in politics would have.  She fought through stereotypes and poverty to make something of herself.  Today she is a conservative, Black, mother, and wife.  She is a veteran, a former adjunct Professor of Corporate Finance, a conference speaker, and a Conservative political commentator. 

She served her country proudly for ten years in the Armed Forces Reserves, where she was accepted into Officer Candidacy School. Her corporate career includes working with two major financial institutions and in corporate America. Kathy sat on the Board of a pregnancy crisis center for five years.
