Throwback Theater

Supah-star! Listen, we all remember a time when the only thing we wanted was a kiss. This week, the guys sit down to talk about the first SNL movie featured on the pod. Molly Shannon plays Mary Katherine Gallagher, a character created for Saturday Night Live, who is a shy and quirky high schooler in a private, Catholic high school. When the opportunity arises to audition in the school's talent show, we breaks out of her shell in an attempt to reach her dreams of stardom. Also starring Will Ferrell, Elaine Hendrix, Mark McKinney, and Harland Williams.

Fourth of July hit hard with camping trips and summer colds, and unfortunately, we weren't able to meet to talk about "Superstar." My plan was to rerun "My Date With The President's Daughter," but we're pretty hot in that episode and talk over each other a lot. So, I'm taking us all the way back to one of our original episodes, recorded in the basement back when 3/4 of the guys all lived together. We'll be back next week to talk about all your favorite parts from Molly Shannon and Will Farrell in "Superstar"!

Grab some rubbers and hit the road, this week, the boys are getting saucy! We sit down to watch the ill-fated, 1997, Jennifer Love Hewitt movie, "Trojan War." In this movie, Will Friedle (Boy Meets World, My Date With The President's Daughter), finally has a chance to hook up with the girl of his dreams, Marley Shelton (The Sandlot, Warriors of Virtue, Bubble Boy), but there's only one thing he needs - a condom! Hijinx ensue.

I'll give you the budget - $15 million, but you'll never guess the box office!

We're back with more JLH movies to celebrate JLH month! And, our very first Jackie Chan movie! In this movie, Jackie Chan plays James Tong (get it?) and finds his way into a super tuxedo suit that gives him powers and is now a spy and has to stop a guy from contaminating the world's water supply with water striders or some shit? I don't know man. For a movie about a tuxedo, this one is far from classy.

We're back for more JLH month! In this episode, the guys take a look at the movie, "Heartbreakers" starring Jennifer Love Hewitt (of course), Sigourney Weaver, Gene Hackman, Ray Liotta, and Jason Lee. JLH and Sigourney Weaver are a mother and daughter con-artist team, seducing men and taking their money, when they decide to con the mega-millionaire, Gene Hackman. Will this be their last con? Will they find love? Will it hold up? Find out this week on TT.

It's time to celebrate! This week, the guys are celebrating the beginning of Jennifer Love Hewitt Month by kicking things off with 1996's "House Arrest" also starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Pollak, and Christopher McDonald, and I think that guy from the Rocky movies, right? Find out this week on Throwback Theater.

Welcome to the He-Man Woman Haters Club Podcast, where us guys are out to... race go-karts? In this episode, the guys take a look back at 1994's "The Little Rascals" to see how it holds up in 2023.

In this special bonus episode, the guys sit down to discuss how we come up with a rating on our -5 to +5 scale. If you've ever been curious about how and why we land on the numbers we do, this is the episode for you! We'll be back next week with "The Little Rascals"!

Sorry, we'll post the link to the stats as soon as we get the link. But it's coming!

Happy Memorial Day!

Sorry for the delay! Did you all think I faked my own death because I was framed for stealing money from the bank I swear I work at? If you did, you're probably Lindsay Lohan and/or Bug Hall, trying to crack the case! Things get heated as the guys review this young adult Disney Channel Original, "Get A Clue!"

The boys watch 1992's classic, "Beethoven" and boy, it's weirder than you remember.
