This week Patsy and Ashes cover Cruella DeVil, between the various movies, television, and literary appearances and how her story has evolved and changed since she was introduced Dodie Smith's 1956 novel. Just a warning - there are HEAVY SPOILERS for the new film starring Emma Stone as the titular character. There is also a bit of disagreement as to how the character has been portrayed in the new film, with both Patsy and Ashes voicing their opinions very energetically. It's a great discussion, with a lot of valid points brought up. They also give you a NEW battle, a preview of a new wine, and so much more on this week's episode!

This week Patsy and Ashes are joined by Powerful Brandon (BraPow) and James Lamond (Jimmy Lambs) to discuss the lore and characters of beloved video game franchise and movie franchise that certainly exists, Mortal Kombat! There is a ton of back and forth about how the movie changed the lore, whether that was good or bad, and how the characters were portrayed from the games to the films, and how things have progressed since the first game arrived in our homes as kids! As is customary, the conversation does get derailed but is still technically tangentially related to the announced subject matter. Also, stay tuned at the end for some fun back and forth that got recorded off-air.

This week, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the show coming on the air, Patsy and Ashes are discussing the first season of Game of Thrones! They do their best to cover all of the characters, but there are so many, and so many storylines that revolve around them that they can't get to everyone. From the Starks to the Lannisters to the Baratheons to the Mormonts, they give you a good range of characters and how this season set the tone for everything that would follow and taught us a valuable lesson about having characters that we liked - don't. Ashes also regales us with a tale of a new wine, there's a new battle, and more on this week's episode!

In a very emotional episode, Patsy and Ashes talk about one of their dearest friends and longtime supporters, Riku, who passed away last week at the age of 31. Riku was one of the first people to support the podcast, and had become a very close friend not only to Patsy and Ashes, but to many across the podcasting community. Riku was more than a listener, more than a friend, he was part of the family and will be deeply missed by many people. Patsy and Ashes barely hold themselves together as they explain this week's show, which is a replay of episode 40, the only show on which Riku was a guest. This was done because he deserves to be remembered as the fun-loving, supportive, amazing human that he was, and this is the best way we thought of to honor him.

This week it's time for Patsy and Ashes to finally cover Grease! For Patsy, this was a first-time watch recently in order to interview some of the cast on the Creator Spotlight Show this past Monday. They try not to focus so much on Sanday and Danny, but the rest of the T-Birds and Pink Ladies, because they're the real stars of the film. They also discuss what "gangs" they would be a part of, drop a new battle, and give you some tantalizing clues of what is coming down the pipeline.
