Aaron's rod is the one that bore fruit. The people were attacking Aaron, saying they should lead instead of him. But Pastor Bill tells us that it was the Lord who defended Aaron. Aaron's rod supernaturally sprouted flowers and grew fruit when it was in the presence of the Lord. We have a choice. We can choose to be like the ones who attacked the leaders—and whose rods remained dead. Or we can follow the example of Aaron. We can allow the fruit of the Spirit to grow in our lives and defend us.
