Submission is not suppression. It’s an act of willingly putting others over yourself. Every single one of us are called to submit to Christ first and foremost. Submission to authority and submission to our spouses are secondary, but both bring honor and glory to God. As Pastor Bill will challenge us in today’s message, instead of merely submitting when it fits our comforts and needs, we need to be willing to submit even when it pushes us outside of our comfort zones.
