I have been experiencing some feelings lately that I wanted to share with you. They are feelings I am quite familiar with, as I have had them in the past when I was in my a downward spiral health wise (mental health + physical health), I’m talking about how that “all or nothing” mentality can really mess with us and actually hinder us from creating a healthy relationship with food and our bodies. Take a listen if you’ve ever felt like you had to be perfect in order to be successful. I’m here to tell you and myself, that we don’t have to be perfect. We don’t have to force and pressure ourselves. We just need to let life flow and make decisions for ourselves in the moment and trust that we can take care of ourselves.
