THX 1138 from 1971 is a bad film. Well actually it isn't that bad. It has a saggy middle act but it's visually interesting and really well edited. This was George Lucas's first proper film, the dystopian underground nightmare sees Robert Duvall and Donald Pleasance work their way out of their routine existences.
