If you were an alien species who would you negotiate with?

What would you do if you met an alien? And what would you say if that alien look just like you? What would you do when you discover that on their planet magic works! Not technology, not science, magic.

Sometimes the story comes from real life. I saw a picture on Instagram with a short caption. And that was the birth of this story. The original picture made me feel good and so does my story.

Two species had gotten along for over a decade on earth but never really understood each other. Until a human child making chocolate no bake cookies with her grandmother ran into a small child who was just curious from the other species.

This is the first podcast of my series: tidbits and tales. Think of those old story boxes at the zoo when you were a child and you had to put the little elephant key and each time you turn the key you got a different story about a different animal. Tidbits and tales are much like that; turn the key to my mind and read a different story every week. This story is about the doorway. A simple elegant doorway. If you step through it nobody knows which will happen. The question then then becomes would you have walked through the doorway?
