CVAC is a co-op program based out of Collinsville High School providing vocational training to junior and senior students. Car trouble? They can do it. Building a home? They can do it. Welding? They can do it. These kids are spending part of their day acquiring real life skills to do real life jobs post high school and they are KILLING IT. Give a hand for these hands-on students and all of their craft and expertise as they contribute to making all of the things in the world function each and every day.

Tiger Spotlight S1, E16 – with Abigail Stacy featuring our very own, Dr. Steve Stuart – fearless leader of Edwardsville High School. Not only does Dr. Stuart oversee all of the things every single day here at EHS, but he also puts the “pal” in principal when interacting with students. He is often the first face students see when arriving each morning and the last one they see after watching the Tigers dominate at athletic and extracurricular events. EHS students know and love her as Ms. April. Known as the hall monitor with the best drip, April Roby-Bell shares her story with the Tiger community. Recently made “famous” with a media publication about her troubled past, passion for preaching at her church in Washington Park, IL, and advocating for peace on the streets of the neighborhoods where she, herself, grew up – Mrs. April keeps it real with us.
