On this night we had our first feature "VenomM", he is a poet, spoken word artist and author. There is so much more to this writer behind his pen, so tune in to find out what we learned. We still had our open mic and these poets came through and rocked the house once again.

Hosting with me was none other than Joe DaVerbal Minddancer as we interviewed our featured guest VenomM. Check out Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Episode 6.

Yasssss!!! We had a little late night open mic party last night and we had a blast. We all need a little late night motivation sometimes. We had some of the best poets come through and blaze the mic. Then we also had the old school vibe going with some old school music, so yes we partied.

Tune in to this pop up episode and vibe it out with us again.

I had the pleasure of interview Lavel Jackson who is a fantastic singer, songwriter and producer.

About Lavel: Powerful, Unique, Versatile, Agile, Creative…….

His voice is powerful, his style unique, his creativity agile, his presence demanding and versatile.

Lavel is a powerful and distinct artist whose abilities take him from the recording studio to the forefront of the stage performing for live audiences. Lavel has shown himself to be a versatile and creative singer, songwriter and producer.  His material has been heard on nationally syndicated television shows such as Family Matters, Sister Sister, and Dangerous Minds and on many nationally released albums. Lavel has produced music for a wide variety of styles (including R&B, Southern Soul and Gospel), but when creating music for himself you begin to see a distinct & classy style of days gone by. Lavel is influenced by the stylish sounds of Sam Cooke, Al Green and many singers of days gone by.
