It sure has been a little bit of time since our last episode, but here is one on the yokai know as Kuchisake Onna. Following that Japanese theming we picked up two different sakes. The first, (whose name was unfortunately left out of the recording) is Hakutsuru Chika and the second was Manotsuru 'Demon Slayer' Onikoroshi Sake.

Been a bit longer than expected of this episode but here it is. This one is on the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, a charming fixer-upper located in Louisville, Kentucky. With such exquisite features such as leftover lead based paint, body chute, spacious add-on, and of course hauntings, this sanatorium/prison/church is fine location to relax or leave your tuberculosis riddled family. Our drinks for this one include a few shots that fix a bit with the theme but you’ll have to give the episode a listen if you want to hear more.

Oh boy this episode has turned out to be our biggest yet, but don’t let that scare you away. We go into some of the equipment that is used in ghost hunting and briefly the functions of them. The drink this time comes from a few listener requests giving us three different drinks in the form of shots. This episode will also conclude the second season at long last and we may consider taking down the length of the episodes moving forward.

We go into some of the unsettling aspects of the familiar yet different liminal spaces. Although it may have been more recently acknowledged in the paranormal they have been around for a bit of time, and some of the examples we talk about support that. Our drink takes inspiration from a common liminal space this time so we have called it the Banana Backrooms. So no clip yourself into a place of transition where you can hear the next episode of Til the Last Drop.

The second half is here! This episode has some details on the use of zombies in entertainment such as video games. Of course, this also has the drink, a ten year rum, Deadhead.

The first half of a massive episode, zombie have a bit to more than some of the other content we have gone into. This episode will go over some of the history and origin of the zombies we know and then how they have been used in popular media, specifically film.

A long time coming with the one. We decided to go into the classic monsters that became well known in popular culture, so in this monster sized episode we go into Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula, and Wolf Man. Yes they are all related and not just as the some of the most familiar monsters known. Our drink is a bit of a Frankenstein inspired abomination (for lack of a better word), combining a few different alcohols and liquors to make something that did taste like it our theme.

With this drink we also thought that it would be fun for our listeners to give us a name for this scary mix. The details of what is in the drink are in the episode so if you think of a good name for this concoction, send us a message either on our contact page or on Facebook and we will announce what the name is in a future episode.

It’s been awhile. Perhaps too long.

This episode we find ourselves in the dark and mysterious setting of the forest, specifically, haunted forests. We go into Hoia Baciu forest and Aokigarhara to talk about what makes them paranormal. We also threw in Isla de las Munecas, because it might have enough trees to be considered a forest and it felt perfect for this episode. Our drink featured is an original this time, and gets its unique name from the content in the episode as well as the content in the glass. the full recipe will be posted in a later update, but we can say that it takes advantage of Ghostwood bourbon.

It has seemed like an eternity since our last episode, but we are excited about this one. We talk a bit about vampires in their different origins and how they changed over multiple areas of the world. Then we try a bit of the “vampire’s blood” itself with a Cherry Glühwein, a wine that could make you think of the dark cellars of a looming mountaintop castle. Tightly congested with various casks emanating an oaky scent which seems strong enough to choke out the light, it would appear the primary resident would enjoy many lifetimes of the drink…
