This episode starts with the Trojans, and their lackluster performance against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The problems that plagued USC all season long showed up once again in the Cotton Bowl. As for Notre Dame, they may have defeated LSU in the Citrus Bowl, but things were bittersweet. This was highlighted by a mid-game quarterback change and uninspiring special teams play.

53 min - Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.16 Week 14It was a light weekend of football action with Notre Dame playing Stanford and USC finally on a bye. The Fighting Irish couldn’t keep it together in the fourth quarter and lost to Stanford. It was another lack luster effort for the Irish, putting a bow on a once promising regular season. In a fun coincidence, the Trojans will be playing Stanford in the upcoming Pac-12 title game. We preview the rematch between USC and Stanford. The episode ends with some Thanksgiving talk.

49 min - Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.15 Week 13The winning ways continue for both USC and Notre Dame. This episode starts with the USC Trojans’ victory over cross town rival UCLA. USC did not look sharp in this rivalry game win, but as they say, a win is a win. While discussing the crowd at the Coliseum, Greg and Michael get into a not so flattering discussion about Los Angeles sports fans. Just like the Trojans, The Fighting Irish were not firing on all cylinders this past weekend. Notre Dame played a game that was too close for comfort against the Navy Midshipmen. Passing woes continued early for the Irish, but the ship was righted and Notre Dame held on for the win.

53 min - Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.14 Week 12 (It Always Ends In Humiliation)It was a rough weekend for Notre Dame football. The Fighting Irish were expelled from the college football playoff after a crushing defeat at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes. Everything that could go wrong did for the Irish. Notre Dame picked the wrong time to lay an egg, but the loss does give Greg the opportunity to remind everyone, it always ends in humiliation for Notre Dame. It was more of the same for the USC Trojans. The Trojans beat Colorado, but it was another inconsistent performance. Most of the issues that have plagued USC all year were on display in Boulder. While the focus was on the Trojans Michael had a suggestion for former Trojan great Matt Leinart.

1 hr 8 min - Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.13 Week 11On this very special episode of the podcast, Greg and Michael start things off by apologizing for their tardiness this week. The episode was delayed due to Michael’s one of kind nuptials, which Greg was an integral part of. Once we get to football talk, Michael briefly runs down USC’s Pac 12 after dark victory over Arizona, and envisions a scenario where the Trojans are knocking on the college football playoff door at season’s end. The focus then shifts to Notre Dame who is firmly entrenched in the college football playoff picture. The Fighting Irish looked both good and bad in a win over Wake Forest and have number 7 ranked Miami on the horizon. The podcast ends with a cameo by a very special guest, Greg’s daughter.

48 min - Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.12 Week 10Notre Dame and USC both won their games last weekend by large margins, so Michael and Greg should both be happy, but that’s not the case. We start with Notre Dame and their new found national prominence. Greg is full of hope for the remainder of the season, and Michael understands why since the Fighting Irish have a stout defense and can run over just about anyone. When we get to the Trojans and their blowout victory of Arizona State Michael is indifferent at best. There are still bones to pick with the vanilla Clay Helton, and fact this season is wasted for USC.
