Tim Armacost is a master storyteller. HIs music is fresh and surprising in 2021, deeply rooted in the modern jazz tradition, and informed by 40 years of experience on the international jazz scene. From contributing his voice to Emilio Solla’s Grammy winning recording “Puertos” on tenor saxophone, clarinet and alto flute in 2020, to his innovative trio explorations with Jeff “Tain” Watts and Robert Hurst, to his 15 year association with NYSQ, Armacost is a dynamic presence in New York.
