PICTURE “PERFECT” FAMILY — REBRANDING YOUR FAMILY

LANCE WATSON | MARCH 10, 2024

“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 (NIV)

AT OUR BEST — WHY A HEALTHY CHURCH IS A MESSY CHURCH

DAVE NELSON | MARCH 3, 2024

OUR MISSION IS TO HELP PEOPLE FIND AND FOLLOW JESUS. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

Proverbs 4:25-27 (NLT)

1. WE ARE A LIFE-GIVING, BIBLICALLY FAITHFUL CHURCH. (John 1:17)

2. WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE UNCOMMITTED. (Luke 15:1-7)

3. WE EMBRACE THE MESS.

Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

Proverbs 14:4 (NLT)

I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.

Romans 7:19 (NLT)

4. WE PLAY OFFENSE, NOT DEFENSE.

When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God...

Acts 4:24a (NLT)

“And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Acts 4:29-30 (NLT)

5. WE HAVE A MULTIPLICATION MINDSET.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 (NLT)

All the believers were united in heart and mind.

Acts 4:32a (NLT)

When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

Luke 12:48b (NLT)
