Sammantha Allen and her husband John were both arrested on July 27, 2011 for causing the death of her 20 year old cousin Ame Deal. The couple were convicted of First Degree murder 2017. Ame Deal suffered abuse at the hands of her family members. John and Sammantha are the first Arizona couple be on Death Row.

On January 14,2009, Marissa DuVault beat her sleeping husband to death with a claw hammer. She claimed he choked and raped her. She had a Sugar Daddy. Dale Harrell was attacked by her in his Gilbert home and died one month later at a Hospice from complications. See her change in her appearance and the coincidences between her and Jodi Arias.

On May 30, 2009 Raul Flores and his 9 year old daughter Brisenia were murdered in their home just north of the Mexican border. A resident of Washington State and a leader of the Minutemen American Defense group Shawna Forde and two accomplices was convicted of the murders. These tragedies lead to the ending of volunteer border watchers and lead then Governor Jan Brewer to sign SB1070 into law.

In 2000 a wealthy hair dresser killed and dismembered her husband after an argument about money and threw his torso into a dumpster. This case became known as the Torso Murder.

On May 20, 2009 Marcia Powell died of complications from heat exposure after being left outside on a holding cage. She was rushed to the hospital where she had a core body temperature of 108 degrees. Her life support was terminated by then ADOC director Charles Ryan.

In 1991 a murderer killed her roommate in central Phoenix and hid her victim’s body in a freezer for 5 years before it was discovered accidently in March of 1996 by another roommate.
