Darick Hall played seven years in the Philadelphia Phillies organization before being called up last June to play in his first major league game.  Darick is a man that loves the Lord Jesus and he joins us on the podcast to talk about his relationship with God, the dream of playing in the majors, and the love that he has for family.

After looking at the three sources that God has used to testify about his son, David now shares the reason that God has testified about Jesus and then the response that should be made to his testimony.

David continues to share the sources in which God the Father has testified about his son.  Today the focus is on the Holy Spirit.

God the Father testified about his son on three different occasions at the cross.  Today David brings out the final two testimonies.

God the Father has testified about his son.  He has done this at the baptism of Jesus but we also see from Scripture that God has testified about Jesus at the cross.  Today, David brings out the first manner in which God spoke of his son at the cross.  

The world is full of different testimonies about Jesus.  And yet it is God the Father that gives us the true testimony concerning his son.  One place that God actually witnessed concerning his son was at the baptism of Jesus.  Today, David takes us back to Matthew 3 and looks at what God the Father actually said regarding Jesus.

All throughout the world there are testimonies given about Jesus and yet the only true testimony concerning Jesus is the one that comes from God the Father.  And this is what John addresses in this text that encompasses 1st John 5:6-12.  Today, David is going to begin to look at the first event at which God testified about his son and that event is the baptism of Jesus.
