We don't escape hardships just because we are believers. We share in Christ's suffering, but we are also blessed with the encouragement of eternal life.

We can't earn God's love. God loves us no matter what we do and loved us enough to send us Christ. We are wiped clean by his death.

We can be a more effective witness by first understanding the people we are trying to reach. Do not avoid people who are different. God wants us to teach others what being a Christian is all about.

God commands us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. It doesn't matter where someone lives, they still need the news of their Savior. With all of the advances in technology and ways to travel we truly can be disciples for Jesus and take the Gospel message to all the ends of the earth.

God has blessed us with technology. Internet, cell phones, and portable devices makes it easy for Jesus to be with you at any time. We can use these tools to reach more and more people in new ways.

Everyone needs a Savior. It can be scary to get out of our comfort zone and talk to people that we don't know about Jesus. God created all human beings and even if someone is different from us, they are a child of God. Don't be afraid to tell anyone about the good news of a Savior.

We often forget that the people sitting next to us in church might need a spiritual boost, too. It is easy to go to church and be a Christian, but to truly have Jesus as the center of your life can be a challenge. Don't put off sharing your faith with those around you just because you assume they already believe. Even a believing heart can use a reminder about Christ's love.

God sends hard times our way, but we have the gift of heaven to look towards. Discipline humbles us and teaches us to ask for help. Look to heaven as the end result and do not be afraid to ask for help along the way.

God blesses us with congregations and fellow believers. The altar reminds us of Jesus sacrifice for us. The pastor and our fellow believers are there to help and guide us in God's Word. Appreciate the church.
