Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.

This time of year is a reminder to run and accelerate. When Peter and John heard that Jesus was alive, they ran to the tomb. When we hide candy in Easter eggs, which is a picture of God hiding treasure within us, kids run with excitement to find the treasure or reward. 

1 Corinthians 9:24 says, "Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!"

Hebrews 12:1 says, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."

I think of this time between Easter and Pentecost as a 7 week sprint. It is a reminder to run with endurance, and to run to win!
