Here we return to the human experience and specifically to the challenges of achieving a scientific understanding of subjectivity. We explore a model depicting 6 levels of human consciousness and return to the story of the ‘self ‘: is it real and what is its role within the evolutionary context? We challenge the human instinct to be ‘right’ or’ wrong’ and advocate instead the search for shared understanding.
