The MHSAA football season will kick off with games on August 26, but one team in the state will open their campaign on Saturday August 21. The Grand Valley Christian Patriots, West Michigan's homeschool team, will travel to Cincinnati on Saturday for their first game of the year. Patriots' Head Coach Brian Shafer sat down and previewed this game and the Patriots' season as a whole. He also touched on the unique challenges of coaching a Homeschool program.

The MHSAA announced in their annual Spring meeting that they will be adding a girls wrestling division to the Individual State Tournament starting in the 2021-22 school year. We break down the impact of this news with coaches from across the state of Michigan including: Brad Anderson (FHC), Casey Randolph (Clinton), Kris Maddox (Montague), Rick Kacher (FHC), and Ryan Lancaster (West Ottawa).

The MHSAA Boys and Girls Basketball finals have come and gone. To conclude our coverage of the finals events, we named our "All-Finals" teams with 10 players from both boys and girls basketball across all 4 divisions, selecting the players based upon their play in the final two rounds of the tournament. The MHSAA Basketball State Finals took place on Friday and Saturday. Eight champions were crowned, four on the boys side and four on the girls side. The MHSAA Boys Basketball Semifinals took place on Thursday. This episode recaps all 8 games with scores, stats, analysis and more. We throw in our two cents on the "Pierre Brooks" debate, as well as breakdown the State Championship match-ups on Saturday. Finally, the show ends with Nick picking his winners for Friday's girls finals.

The MHSAA Girls Basketball Semifinals took place on Wednesday, and we now have 4 State Championships set. We recap the eight semifinals with stats, scores and analysis. We also take a quick look forward at the State Championship Games. The show closes out with a preview of Thursday's boys basketball semifinals.

The Boys Basketball Quarterfinals concluded on Tuesday night. There were some phenomenal games across the state of Michigan. We recap the action with some of our biggest takeaways, highlighting the top individual performances, and even making some predictions regarding the semifinals. 

The MHSAA Girls Basketball Quarterfinals are now complete! Sixteen teams across four divisions have punched their ticket to the State Semifinals at either Breslin Center or Van Andel Arena. Tune in for a complete recap of the games, as well as the semifinal pairings. At the end of the episode, we highlight the boys quarterfinal matchups we are most looking forward to on Tuesday.
