As I listened to the podcast I just felt I should mention this because I am guilty of things in my life while I was a pastor that I am not proud of, and I can't stand as Judge and Jury to anyone. Me, like the Apostle Paul, "...am chief of sinners." The thing for me is the honesty part. I believe it's important to be honest, and transparent, especially when you are standing on a stage leading people.

After graduating Bible College I spent 30 years as a minister in the evangelical church. I taught you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to escape the punishment of Hell. Ironically, my “pursuit of truth” led me down the path of deconstructing my Christian beliefs. I came to understand that Christianity is just a mythical man-made story and I became an Atheist.
