Sheletta tells Tina that in order to survive in this world today with all the chaos happening, the only way to stay sane is to stay prayed up.

Tina explains to Sheletta that people didn't really understand Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl Halftime Show because most folks have a chitlin' circuit mentality and want to be entertained rather than educated.

Tina tells Sheletta she's excited about her son's upcoming wedding in a few months, but as the mother of the groom, she's having a hard time finding a dress that's sexy, sassy and still not too flashy.

When Sheletta tells Tina all the new ailments she's encountering including floaters in her eyes, hot flashes and mood swings ahead of her 54th birthday, Tina suggests her bestie gets hormone replacement therapy. 

Tina & Sheletta are tickled pink to see all their Houston relatives sledding and tubing after a record snow storm hits the Bayou City. But the ladies warn the fun will soon turn into four letter words if the city doesn't have a plan to make the roads and highways safe to drive.

Sheletta is excited to see Tyler Perry's new movie about the Black female soldiers, but she's tired of it taking 50+ years to tell the heroic stories of Black women who make outstanding contributions in this country. She encourages Black women to clap for themselves, celebrate their successes and shine a spotlight on their own accomplishments.

Tina tells Sheletta she misses the days when comedians had a little more edge to their routines and while she enjoyed the Jamie Foxx special on Netflix, she said he should have told some jokes and saved his story for a sit down with Gayle King.

Tina goes all out for her birthday and says it's important to celebrate getting older because you're worth it.

With the rollback of DEI at some major retailers including Walmart, Tina & Sheletta talk about how Black women are boycotting some of their favorite stories to send a message.

Tina and Sheletta reflect on the recent presidential election and the heartbreak they felt when Kamala Harris didn't win. Tina confessed that when she went into the voting booth and thought about all of Kamala's qualifications, background, and experience she felt like she was voting for herself.
