In this episode of the Tiny Bites of Business podcast, we discuss the importance of automation for busy business owners.
I am mostly focusing on Zapier as a key tool for connecting different processes and applications as it tends to be very user friendly and the most commonly used tool.
Automations can eliminate manual steps, improve efficiency, and enhance communication with clients. The episode covers the fundamental concepts of triggers and actions in automation, practical examples of using Zapier, and encourages listeners to explore automation tools to streamline their business operations.

In this episode, lets talk about the feelings of overwhelm and guilt that often arise as the year progresses.
My big point I hope you can take away from this is the importance of focusing on one task at a time to alleviate stress and improve productivity. By giving oneself permission to simplify work processes and breaking tasks down into manageable steps, individuals can achieve a sense of accomplishment and maintain motivation.
Please prioritise mental space and recognise the value of completing one thing before moving on to the next. For more information about working with me please head to my website www.knockonwoodvirtualassistance.com.au
In this episode I am getting personal and talking about my journey with ADHD.
It was something that has influenced her business practices and personal life in so many ways and it is key now to how I show up online, who I work with and HOW I solve problem.
There was a lot of emotion tied in diagnosis and it was not something my extended family supported. But when we see ourselves caught in a perpetual loop of burnout we need to take steps for ourselves. I also touch on the impact of medication, and the importance of support systems.
This episode explores the challenges of managing ADHD in a business context and the significance of understanding your own mental health.

Profitability is NOT just about selling more!
Profitability is about managing your resources (including your time) and using them to make more impact (and cash) in a way that is sustainable.
There is a critical relationship between profitability and systems in business. Systems reduce inefficiencies, improve workflows, reduce mental load, allow for delegation and better decision making, and ultimately enhance profitability.
This episode is created both for the business owner who is absolutely at their MAX and unable to take on more to make more money - as well as for the business owner who is busy doing 'all the things' trying to get clients and knows that there is no way that it will be sustainable once traction gets a hold.

In this episode we reflect on the challenges of being too close to a project and the resistance to change that can arise.
You pour your heart and soul into your business. It lives and breathes as a result of your inspiration. But sometimes this can mean being too close to be able to see the gaps.
Think of the way an author uses an editor to be that external party who is more able to see what is there exactly as it is. Those external perspectives make all the difference to be able to problem solve and improve our systems, our offers and our business.
Do audits. Ask questions. Seek community feedback. And get the support of mentors or consultants who have the experience to be able to see the big picture.
Sometimes you are simply too close.
In this episode of the Tiny Bites of Business podcast, we are talking about creating planning systems that work for your brain and hold the notes you need. Plot note: you will probably need a LAYERED approach, including digital+physica,l because object permanance and poor working memory are very real considerations!
March is a really key time to make sure your planning systems are working because NOW is the point you are already going to feel the strain if you are mentally juggling all the balls instead of using solid systems that work for you.
