New name change! The Somatic SLP!

In this episode, I cover the somatic nervous system. This branch of the autonomic nervous system controls our bodily sensations and voluntary movements. We can use this system to our advantage by recognizing the feelings we are experiencing and incorporating grounding techniques to calm us when needed. In this episode, I go into the traits of perfectionism, how our upbringing may cause perfectionistic tendencies, how to overcome perfectionism, and how I curate sessions to help children in my sessions live a well-balanced drive towards their goals.
