Dr. Braga-Mele is a Professor of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada. In addition to being extremely distinguished in our field - serving as multiple committees and giving numerous lectures nationally, she is also the mother of 3 boys - ages 25, 23 and 15. She is a Canadian certified Level 1 basketball coach and has 2nd degree black belt in Karate and a nationally ranked bodybuilder.
