Its vital to remind the survivor in your life, that  they have everything within them needed to heal from their trauma. Namely: their immunity, resilience and personal power.
This is especially true, when they are not coping or struggling with life.
Reminding them they are doing great, and that you can see it happening is important, equally doing it in a gentle and supportive way is healing.
