Anna and Victoria talk with Alicia McFarland, a coordinator for Early Childhood Programs at Ventura County Office of Education. With a plethora of experiences and resources, Alicia shares ideas for teaching young children during Distance Learning, while keeping a focus on developmentally appropriate practices like provocations and building wonder. Alicia also shares considerations about how we might serve families of young children during Distance Learning.

Paige teaches a Social Emotional Learning class to sixth, seventh, and eight grade students.

Anna and Victoria interview Jeremy Resnick, a Curriculum and Instruction Director at the Ventura County Office of Education.
Jeremy has dedicated much of his professional career to PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) and is meeting with Anna and Victoria to discuss how teachers might use PBIS in a Distance Learning model.
