This is the very first episode of "Sit Down With Rell" featuring Terrell Patterson and Shayla Hebron. We are co-owners of Beyond The Lens, inc. We launched a podcast 2 years ago called Shay and Rell Know Story. We learned a lot on this journey and want to share with you some of the tips that helped us get started and kept us going.
We also discuss Shayla's top tips for doing interviews. With over 15 years experience being a Television producer she knows the ins and outs to conducting a strong interview. Currently we are still dealing with a pandemic and many people are resorting to doing interviews with zoom or IG Live. So before you jump in here are some tips from the expert.

Terrell Maleek Patterson is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Business and Economics. Literally working "beyonds the lens" in his 11 years of television production, Terrell has edited for networks such as A&E, OWN, The Food Network, Discovery ID, WE Tv and VH1. Among his many credits, his most current is supervising editor of a popular VH1 series.Terrell Maleek Patterson is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Business and Economics. In almost 20 years of television production, Shayla has produced shows for various networks such as ESPN, Fox Sports, BET, WE Tv, A&E, VH1, MTV, HGTV, Animal Planet and Bravo. Her credits include Beyond The Glory, American Gangster, The Locator, HammerTime, Wild West Alaska, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
