Why? Life emerges when God is first.

Only God can sustain life in a desolate desert.

God’s design is perfect because God created everything to exist in relationship to Him. Sin distorts our ability to relate to God, but God has called us back to His perfect design of seeing everything in relationship to Him.

Prayer has always been an intricate part of relating to God. After the resurrection of Jesus, the believers prayed and they experienced the unimaginable; even more reason we should continue to pray today.

Because Jesus rose from the dead there is a deep-seated hope that is planted within our hearts. This hope becomes the next step of relating to Jesus as we growth in the reality of the life that Jesus died and rose from the grave for us to have.

When we try to live the old and new life at the same time we scorn the sacrifice and new life that God has graciously given us.

Jesus died on the cross, resurrected from the dead and has ascended on high. “Now What?” Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus who is the way the truth and the life, who is the resurrection and the way to the Father. When we fix our eyes on Jesus we take hold of the resurrection and the life that it can give.

If we really believe that the death and resurrection we celebrate on Good Friday and Easter really happened, this is how our lives should reflect it.

The disciples had just experienced a life changing miracle, the resurrection of Jesus. This life changing event has left the disciples with a question, "Now What?" Jesus calls Peter to a Redeeming Love that should be evident in our lives and the life of our Church.

The power of the resurrection is still evident today. When a new life that is focused on Jesus emerges as a stark contrast to an old life style the power of the resurrection is at work.
