Paul concludes the letter to Titus with the normal greeting, and instructions. How can these instructions be beneficial and edifying for us today? Why do we care what Paul told Titus? What does this communication from Paul to Titus tell us about the nature of the gospel, the work of Christ, and Paul’s work? Why would Paul care about this church that is so far from him? Please stay tuned to our last sermon on Titus titled, "Paul’s Concluding Directions."

The church is a place where the people of God come together. When you think of the imagery of the temple that Paul uses in different passages say ephesians 2-3 it is a beautiful picture. Paul has encouraged Titus to have individual devote themselves to good works even outside the body or temple. What is the church supposed to do with people who stir up trouble and division within the temple body? How is the church supposed to cope with trouble makers? Are temple people supposed to shun false teachers? Dialogue with false teachers? How much dialogue must the church do? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Dealing with Division."

We know that as Christians we are called to conform to Christ. I hope that this point is not something that we contend. We know that there are ethics in scripture that are binding on us. However, we can see that Mormans are very moral people as well. What makes our ethics so distinctive? How does Paul motivate us to conform to Christ? Why should we even want to conform? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Devoted to Good Works."

I think that if we are honest in our Christian life, it is difficult for us to live this life in the midst of the world. In some places the world is rather hostile to Christianity. It might not be in outright persecution, but in more subtle ways. What ways might the world be very hostile to Christianity without outright persecution? How is America an example one of these nations being hostile to Christianity? How does the Apostle Paul encourage Titus to deal with this struggle? How is Titus to shape the church in his ministry as a paradigm for the church’s mission? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Living as a Cretan Christian."

When Christ says farewell to his disciples in Matthew's gospel he gives them the great commission. There are not many details as to what this is to look like, but what is clear is that the message of the gospel is to be delivered to the nations. How does the apostle Paul help us to see this great commission? How are churches to be planted? What is the ultimate goal of these plants? How is one to put the house of God in order? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Put God’s House in Order."

The apostle Paul is from the tribe of Benjamin, was a pharisee, and identifies himself as the Jew of Jews. How does the apostle Paul handle gentiles? If God brings the gentiles into the covenant community does that mean that God lies? What is the significance of God telling the truth and a gentile taking over the churches in Crete? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Our God Who Never Lies."
